Hi,
My son has just developed a fever and sore throat, and he has virtually no appetite. He has a spot on his stomach, but it's right where the button of his pants rubs against his skin, so it could just be an irritation. I am going to take him to the doctor tomorrow morning, but for now - do you think this is the start of chicken pox? Also, is there anything I can do to prevent a more serious outbreak, or do I have to just wait and let whatever will happen happen?
my 4 year old daughter had her chicken pox vaccine two weeks ago,at the same visit the dr discovered a slight ear infection and prescribed her amoxicillin, here we are two weeks later and she awoke yesterday morning with very tiny red spots only a few around her arms, shoulders and, across her cheeks and nose,I had her at the dr yesterday she told me it appeared to be an allergic reaction to the antibiotic, since the visit her body has become infested with these red spots, especially her face and ears but she does have them all over I took her back this morning and was told to give her benadryl, this was about four hours ago,now she has a fever and feels sleepy cranky and itchy and the red spots have semed to multiply yet again,is it common to develope these symptoms even after having the vaccine? this doesn't seem to be an allergic reaction.
woke thismorning to a very moody ruby and discovered large red spots on hands side and leg that arnt blisters yet could this be chicken pox?
