Dating with Herpes

I recently found out I have herpes. I am single and still love women :). I have been told about herpes dating sites and all, but in the non-virtual life, how do people with herpes go about dating? I feel like I need to tell the women I am dating right away. Now the chances are, 1 in 4 will have the same problem. I would like to hear other people's thoughts over it.

well i jus had sex wit a gurl that has herpes n the condom broke. i dont kno if i have it yet but most likely i do :( but 6 days later i had sex wit another gurl n the condom broke again. does she have herpes? i wouldve thought that this would never happen 2 me cuz i always try 2 be careful but wen u r drunk, u dont give a eff. point is i dont see myself ever havin another relationship as far as marriage goes. n i dont wanna go around havin sex wit every gurl n condoms breakin cuz if thats gunna be the case practically every gurl in columbus gunna have it. but once i get tested n the test cums bac positive for herpes, im killin myself cuz i cant live wit that nasty ass bullshit inside me.

Typo error- You NEED TO BE CONFIDENT in what you are saying.

I am in the same situation.. I have not had that talk either yet but I can tell you that before my husband and I made love for the first time, he wated until we were hot and heavey. Now granted I appreciated him telling me, but I think it would have been nice to know before I was "ready to go". At that point I was like I dont care just wear a condom.

Also it is imperative you have all the information about Herpes so that you can inform your partner when she has questions.

As far as the dating thing.. I would not say unless you know for sure there is sexual attraction on her part. What I have been reading is that you do not need to be confident in what you are saying and let them know so they have a choice. Good luck !
