Dating with Herpes

I recently found out I have herpes. I am single and still love women :). I have been told about herpes dating sites and all, but in the non-virtual life, how do people with herpes go about dating? I feel like I need to tell the women I am dating right away. Now the chances are, 1 in 4 will have the same problem. I would like to hear other people's thoughts over it.

Typo error- You NEED TO BE CONFIDENT in what you are saying.

I am in the same situation.. I have not had that talk either yet but I can tell you that before my husband and I made love for the first time, he wated until we were hot and heavey. Now granted I appreciated him telling me, but I think it would have been nice to know before I was "ready to go". At that point I was like I dont care just wear a condom.

Also it is imperative you have all the information about Herpes so that you can inform your partner when she has questions.

As far as the dating thing.. I would not say unless you know for sure there is sexual attraction on her part. What I have been reading is that you do not need to be confident in what you are saying and let them know so they have a choice. Good luck !
